¡Hola! I'm Sofía.
I'm a Product Designer, doll collector, and animal lover living in Mexico City. Currently, I'm immersed in the world of fintech as a Design Intern at Nubank.
As a recent graduate, I've spent the last year obsessed with how people
interact with technology.
I view myself as a UX-focused designer and researcher who loves the "detective work" of the
process.
I've worked hand-in-hand with research teams to dig into user pain points, ensuring that
every flow I design and every prototype I build actually solves a real-world need.
I'm a big believer in creating experiences that feel effortless, using (and building) design systems to keep things polished, and working as a team with diverse profesionales to make sure our final version is the best version.
I'm always looking for new ways to help users connect with products and services in meaningful ways.

I am always seeking challenges to continually develop myself, such as participating in competitions, collaborating on projects, reading blogs, and involving myself in the design community where I learn from others and also give back through mentorship and sharing my experiences and skills.
